Two days ago, Bambu Studio 1.10.2 Public Release was released. It comes with the controverted “authorization and authentication protection mechanism” they introduced in 1.10.2’s first beta.

It is also coming with a new feature, ‘Send to Bambu Farm Manager Client’, that was added in beta 2.
Even though we couldn’t find any information around this new Farm Manager Client; it’s hard not to think all those recent restrictions that were announced in the name of security might have been to favor an upcoming Bambu designed Farm Manager. But this is just speculation.

Bambu Lab also added a way to access Makerlab directly from within Bambu Studio.

The rest is mainly bug fixing and small improvements:

  1. Fixed potential issues with floating supports in Tree Hybrid and Tree Slim structure.
  2. Fixed a potential failure to load Brazilian Portuguese on Linux
  3. Fixed the font color display issue in the “unsaved changes dialog” on Linux,
  4. Fixed an issue where tree supports sometimes failed to generate continuous top support layers.
  5. Fixed an issue where the Top-Z parameter of mixed supports was invalid in certain cases.
  6. Fixed display issue for remaining print time on MacOS.
  7. Fixed an issue where the bottom surface of some parts could not be selected in certain cases.
  8. Added LDO as a new filament vendor
  9. Fixed GCode export failures for third-party printers
  10. Fixed an issue where dropdown menus displayed incorrectly on Fedora systems
  11. Fixed an issue where the access code might be cleared after a failed connection to the printer in LAN mode.
  12. Improved several compilation issues
  13. Added FusRock as a new filament vendor.
  14. Updated Docker build dependencies.
  15. Added PLA Glow for A1 mini.
  16. Added SUNLU filaments for Bambu Lab printers.
  17. Fixed crash when dragging a project in Online Models on MacOS.
