As we reported almost three months ago, a user, with the handle powpingdone, was working on bringing OrcaSlicer to FlatPak. After what seems to have been a lot of trial and error, frustration, and mostly a lot of work, The PR is ready to be reviewed by OrcaSlicer’s main developer, aka SoftFever.
Afterward, powpingdone will contact the Flathub admins to obtain automated upload keys, which should be the last step before OrcaSlicer is officially available on FlatPak. We will update you when it’s finally there.
In the meantime, we can only wait and thank powpingdone for all the hard work he has put into helping the community.
