Today, MakerWorld announced through their System notification that they just updated 2 of their existing MakerLab tools: Relief Sculpture Maker and Image to 3D Model.
In “Relieve Sculpture Maker,” MakerWorld says they have improved the tool to produce “significantly smoother models.” You can see the improvement from the picture provided by MakerWorld below.
Regarding “Image to 3D Model,” MakerWorld only comments that their “partner has upgraded their Image to 3D Model algorithms.” If you tried it and you see any improvements, feel free to tell us in the comments below.
Finally, please remember that both tools are still considered experiments and, therefore, are not considered mature products yet. Nevertheless, it’s great to see MakerWorld improving their tools.
