Two days ago, Bambu Lab seems to have enabled a new 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) mechanism for everybody. If you have not enabled 2FA in your profile, Bambu Lab will now send you an e-mail containing a one-time code to confirm your login.
This change has impacted third-party software like XTouch, where users were greeted with a “Fatal BBL JWT parsing error.” Nevertheless, the developers reacted quickly and provided a new firmware that solved the issue.
If you are impacted, you can manually install the new firmware by following the instructions on the GitHub page: https://github.com/xperiments-in/xtouch?tab=readme-ov-file#standard-firmware-update
Then, when the screen prompts you to visit a URL like “192.168.x.y,” open that link on your computer and fill in the code you received by email, this will allow you to use your screen again.
